A Message from the President

Dear NAAAHR Charlotte Community,

I am honored to serve as the President of the National Association of African American Human Resources Charlotte Chapter. Our mission is to empower African American professionals in the fields of human resources and leadership by providing networking opportunities, professional development, and community engagement.

​

As we navigate through these unprecedented times, it is more important than ever for us to come together as a community to support one another. We recognize the impact that COVID-19 has had on our lives, and we remain committed to supporting our members during these challenging times.

I am proud to say that our chapter remains strong and resilient despite the pandemic. We have continued to host informative and engaging virtual events that have touched on a variety of issues, including diversity and inclusion, leadership, and wellness. We have also continued to strengthen our partnerships with local organizations to create more opportunities for our members.

Looking ahead, we are excited about the future opportunities that lie ahead for our chapter. We plan to increase our engagement with our members by introducing new initiatives and offering more resources to help them succeed. We also plan to continue our efforts to foster and promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.

As we move forward together, I encourage all of our members to continue to stay connected and engaged. Together we can accomplish great things, and I am confident that our chapter will continue to thrive with your support and contribution.
