Shalanda is a Business Systems Specialist for the City of Charlotte. She handles Employee Relations and Leaves of Absence for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. She is also a member of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives. She has a BS in Business Management from Xavier University of Louisiana. She loves engaging with employees and assisting them in cultivating their skills to further their growth within organizations.

Melicia serves as the Human Resources Business Partner with OrthoCarolina, one of the largest privately owned orthopedic practices in the southeast.  She is a strategic partner to leaders and team members, building collaborative relationships as an advisor and consultant, navigating employee relations and performance development matters. Her HR experience spans across new home construction, manufacturing and automotive industries.

Ty is an accomplished HR professional who has served as an internal Consultant, Change Agent, and Strategic Business Partner for over 15 years within various industries, including Food Service, Retail, Global Manufacturing, Legal, and Supply Chain and Logistics. Throughout his career, Ty has a proven track record of successfully managing tactical execution, leading enterprise-wide strategic HR initiatives, and driving sweeping change management efforts. Ty has amassed practical and strategic experience in Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Total Rewards, and Learning and Development.
