Shalanda is a Business Systems Specialist for the City of Charlotte. She handles Employee Relations and Leaves of Absence for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. She is also a member of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives. She has a BS in Business Management from Xavier University of Louisiana. She loves engaging with employees and assisting them in cultivating their skills to further their growth within organizations.



Vice President of Administration

Melicia serves as the Human Resources Business Partner with OrthoCarolina, one of the largest privately owned orthopedic practices in the southeast.  She is a strategic partner to leaders and team members, building collaborative relationships as an advisor and consultant, navigating employee relations and performance development matters. Her HR experience spans across new home construction, manufacturing and automotive industries.

Vice President of Marketing & External Affairs

Rowena is a HRIS Analyst at Maersk, a Logistics company. She is responsible for delivering HR services globally from creating reports to developing processes. She has worked mostly in the HR field within the medical industry as an HR generalist since 2017 and has received the PHR certification in 2020. She plans on obtaining the Master's in IT Business Management by Fall of 2022.

Vice President of Collegiate Affairs

Tiffany is an Associate Director of Compliance and Benefits at Americares. She provides consultative guidance to leaders at the College level in the areas of recruitment, position management and budgeting, and process improvement. She has overs 10 years of HR experience in benefits administration, talent acquisition, employee relations, and engagement and retention. Tiffany holds a Master in Public Administration, Bachelor's in English, and is a SHRM Certified Professional.

Vice President of Professional Development

Lauren leverages her background in Industrial/Organizational Psychology to develop Talent Management solutions. In her role as an HR Assessment Consultant at Lowe’s Companies, Inc., her current responsibilities include managing 360° Feedback Surveys, facilitating individual and team development initiatives using assessments, and leveraging best practices to support talent selection and development.
